Instruction
Individual Instruction
Each individual lesson from our highly-trained instructors begins with an interview about the current state of your game, any physical limitations that may affect your ability to swing and the goals you want to achieve with your golf game.
Next, a high speed video (if video lesson) will be taken of your swing and after a review of the video, your instructor will show you how to make improvements using specific drills and training aids.
At the end of each lesson a summary and demonstration of the key points will be recorded by the instructor and all of this information along with the initial analysis will be put together an emailed to you.
Playing Lessons
During our playing lessons, our instructor will evaluate and work with you on a variety of skills including your pre-shot routine, course management decisions, short game shot selection and swing technique. Most of our on-course lessons are scheduled at the end of the day when we have more access to the golf course.
Clinics
The academy offers weekly clinics covering every aspect of the game. Although introductory in nature, they are a good refresher if you are having trouble with that portion of your game. Clinics are generally an hour in length and only given on particular days. Please call the academy for upcoming session dates and topics.
Group Lessons for New and Intermediate Golfers
Our group programs are designed to introduce or increase the golfer's abilities by giving them a better understanding of the game's fundamentals. For the new golfer entering the game, or those who have some experience but prefer a series of lessons that cover all aspects of the game, this is an excellent option.
Both new and intermediate level programs include six one-hour group lessons, and academy notebook. The intermediate program also includes a DVD. These programs are offered twice each week.
Custom Golf Schools
The Borrell Golf Academy can customize a golf school to suit your needs.
